In writing I have been learning to:
  • use all basic punctuation independently
  • attempt more complex punctuation (eg semicolons, colons, parentheses)

I have been especially focusing on using parentheses and commas. I have highlighted these in green where I have used them as well as other punctuation that I changed because it was used incorrectly. Here is a piece of my writing that shows this.

To be a leader means to be able to motivate a team/person to achieve a goal. To be a good leader you need to know and be able to show the 6 traits of leadership. And they are motivational,trustworthy,integrity,active thinking,goal focused and resilient. I am going to be sharing 3 leadership traits that I think will help me in my leadership role. And that is to be a librarian

The first leadership trait is resilience. which is about never giving up no matter what happens.
A leader that has shown resilience is nelson Mandela because even though him trying ended him up in jail. He still kept trying and then became president. this is important to my leadership role because I need to show resilience and not give up. This will help with my leadership role because  I need to show resilience by turning up every Thursday lunchtime to do my leadership role .Another important leadership trait is goal focused

Goal focused means to stay on task to complete a goal. Someone who has used this leadership trait effectively is nelson Mandela. By always trying to accomplish his goal i need to show the goal focused leadership trait by staying on task to be a librarian. I am going to demonstrate this trait by Not talking of task or to my friends on my duty. Also  i need to show active thinking.

Active thinking means to make correct choices no matter how hard. A leader who has shown this leadership trait is nelson Mandela by thinking of ways to make people be on his side and make it that black and white people are evenly  treated. I am going  to show this trait by knowing where all the books go. This will help me in my leadership role because then i will be able to help people find their books.

To be a good librarian by  showing all the leadership traits. All these leadership traits will help me be a good librarian i can be. And show up to my role and do it effectively by being able to help people find and issue books. and help miss ward with running the library I am going to be the best librarian that i can be.
